Peter sadly passed away on the 7th September 2009 and it's his family wish for his paintings to remain on this website.

Peter worked as a Textile Physicist and retired in 1991, when he joined the Arnold Art Society. He enjoyed painting urban landscapes and architectural subjects particularly, both around Nottingham and also on his holiday visits in the UK and abroad. He was interested in digital imaging and the rules of correct perspective and reflection.

He used watercolours when working out of doors but in the studio he often used acrylics or oils. His favourite choice of medium was Genesis heat-settable oil paints.

Note. The Arnold Art Society website was Peter's inspiration and he worked tirelessly to get it created in 2004.
