After a long and successful career in Primary Education I decided to take Early Retirement and spend some time doing the things I’d always dreamed about.

Then I started painting! something I’ve always loved but in a pressured job, with a family, something I was never able to do.

I work in a range of media but prefer pastels and charcoal as I quite enjoy getting my hands dirty. Recently I have been concentrating on improving my life drawing skills and am fascinated by the possibilities of a range of alternate colours.
