Josie is married with two children and four grandchildren. Born in Arnold and has lived there all her life. She has always been interested in Art & Crafts and is an active member of the Arnold Art Society and Woodborough Art Club.

Josie is self-taught and the enjoyment of painting flowers came from an interest in designing the colour and planting schemes for the flower garden.

Over the years her paintings have been exhibited at Libraries, Patchings Art Centre, Longdale Craft Centre and various other venues.

Residents of the local surrounding area of Arnold have purchased many of Josie's paintings.
